High-Quality
Academic Program
BLI guarantees the highest quality in the programs we offer. Experienced, professional, and certified instructors teach our classes.
We specifically design our strong, communicative-based curriculum to teach, motivate, and engage young learners, keeping them interested in our classes. It makes learning what it should be: FUN! All the topics are carefully thought out, age-appropriate, and tailored to teenagers and their interests.
We keep our class sizes small, capping them at 18 students per session and grouping them by age, ensuring students receive the individual attention they need.
We hold classes at our main campus in the heart of Montreal or at our annex. Both locations are accessible by public transport – just a five-minute walk from a subway station.
Students study general English and French based on the day’s theme during the morning. While in the afternoon, they collaborate with their classmates to create and present projects.
DAILY WORKSHOPS
Our workshops encourage linguistic autonomy, flexibility, and results! Students will collaborate among themselves and with their teacher to complete and present a project each day.
Every week, lessons are taught around a specific theme:
- Art
- Technology
- Science
- Food
- Culture
- Sports

Overview
Meals
As part of our homestay program, your host family will provide all meals throughout your stay. It’s a fantastic way to experience local cuisine and dining customs while sharing meals with your host family.
A typical Canadian breakfast is quick and simple, usually consisting of cereal and toast. Your host family will provide this breakfast each morning. For lunch, which may vary by family, you can expect a sandwich, wrap, or another light meal.
Dinner is a time for families to come together, share stories, and enjoy a delicious meal. You’ll dine with your host family every evening, and they will prepare many Canadian and international dishes for you to try. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn about local cuisine, practice your language skills, and strengthen your relationship with your host family.

Supervision
Friendly monitors
We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where campers can thrive. With 24/7 supervision, our dedicated team is always available to assist and guide students, ensuring their well-being throughout their stay.
From organizing fun activities to offering encouragement, our staff fosters a welcoming community where campers feel secure, express themselves freely, and build lasting friendships.
Parents can rest assured that their child is in caring hands and will enjoy an unforgettable experience at our language summer camp.
Transportation
The safety and convenience of our campers are our top priority. While homestay students travel independently to and from their host families’ homes, we guarantee they are always accompanied during all daily activities by our staff members or trained chaperones. This added support provides an extra layer of safety. Enabling students to fully engage in the activities without worrying about transportation or logistics.
We aim to offer campers a safe, fun, and memorable experience. We believe the homestay program gives students an excellent opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture, make new friends, and develop lifelong skills.
Upon arrival, each student will receive an Opus card (included in the camp price). This card grants unlimited access to Montreal’s public transit, making it easy for students to explore the city during their stay.
