Our Summer Camp

Our Summer Camp offers an exciting opportunity for language learners to immerse themselves in a fun and interactive environment that promotes language acquisition. With experienced teachers and engaging activities, campers can expect to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in their target language. The program caters to different age groups and proficiency levels, ensuring every student gets personalized attention and achieves significant progress in their language learning journey—all while having fun!

Are you looking for a unique and exciting way to improve your language skills? Our camp offers you the perfect opportunity to develop and enhance your English or French language skills.

High-Quality
Academic Program

BLI guarantees the highest quality in the programs we offer. Experienced, professional, and certified instructors teach our classes.

We specifically design our strong, communicative-based curriculum to teach, motivate, and engage young learners, keeping them interested in our classes. It makes learning what it should be: FUN! All the topics are carefully thought out, age-appropriate, and tailored to teenagers and their interests.

Our classes are small, with a maximum of 18 students per class, ensuring students receive the individual attention they need.

Our classes are held at our campus, located in the heart of Ottawa. The campus is easily accessible by public transport.

Students study general English and French based on the day’s theme during the morning. While in the afternoon, they collaborate with their classmates to create and present projects.

DAILY WORKSHOPS

Our workshops encourage linguistic autonomy, flexibility, and results! Students will collaborate among themselves and with their teacher to complete and present a project each day.

Overview

Meals

Campers should bring their own meals to our fantastic Summer Camp, where we want everyone to feel energized and nourished throughout a day filled with exciting activities and language learning. Additionally, it’s always fun to see what everyone brings to share! During lunchtime, all campers gather to enjoy their meals together, creating a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, practice language skills, and create unforgettable memories.

Ottawa is a vibrant bilingual city filled with attractions, local markets, and exciting festivals—perfect for a fun-filled summer. FLAP participants will have a fantastic educational and life-changing experience while making friends from around the globe.

Enjoy exciting weekend excursions and daily after-school activities that combine fun and learning. The summer program features outdoor adventures like biking, rafting, and rock climbing, as well as shopping and sightseeing visits to Ottawa’s top landmarks and museums. Weekend trips may include Montreal, Toronto, Niagara Falls, and more.
